Scared people do desperate things

Lately you’ve seen the Friends of Coal doing some really freaky things. Thats because they are scared. Their dirty secret about how they have been doing bussiness with the evil of phony propaganda, backed by their money, which is dirtier than the coal, which they claim can be “clean coal”, which anyone with any common sense knows there no such thing, and people are now uncovering the real truth, and that is coal kills. They are scared, and that’s why they are now using the method of mountaintop removal, to get it as fast as they can and in the process, making as much profit as they can. Peoples livelihoods means nothing to these criminals and their paid politicans. Communities are being destroyed, children are being posioned from contaminated drinking water. Illness, disease, and death are spreading thru coalfields communities who are the ones who are paying the ultimate price for this so called “cheap energy”. What this industry is doing is nothing short of genocide. So as the real truth keeps unfolding, expect to see them turn to they’re old tactics of intimadation and violence that they have used now for over 100 years. Do they really think that these tactics will still work, WRONG, people now understand the criminal acts these thugs have been doing to try to scare people so the real truth doesn’t come out.Why is West Virginia ranked dead last with the highest poverty rate, while we’re setting on the richest coal reserves in the world. It’s because like this method of mountaintop removal, which they say provides jobs, has taken 135,000 jobs from underground miners. In the 1970’s we had 150,000 coal miners in W.Va, and now we have less than 15,000 miners. This is one good fact that proves their misinformation and their phony propaganda is just plain old BS. So as they drop to their knees, expect more desprate actions to be taken against people who knows the real truth, and who is spreading the word about the coal industry dismantling of God’s creation.

They wouldn’t be so upset if we weren’t beginning to win!

I have never in my life seen so much destruction in a concentrated area before. But at the same time, I also have not heard anything about this before either. What you guys need is national coverage, I mean get someone else’s attention besides the state idiots you have there.

Thanks for your response Jeff. We all work on this issue seven days a week. We travel all over the nation to educate people about the destruction of our homes and our mountains. I worked in underground mines for 30 years, so I do know and understand the conditions we all have to live with, living near these sites. It is a shame that our government ignores the fact that people’s lifes are being destroyed. Please continue to visit my site, and continue to comment on my posts. This let me know that people are interested in what’s going on here. Thanks, Mountainsaver.

Chuck, I see one small problem with dealing with enviromental issues, that a person is easily mistaken to be far left. I saw one comment that I thought honest and direct. Something about protecting one’s home and surroundings instead of being a enviormentalist. But the pictures I have seen are disturbing. There are logging companys in Oregon that have to put back so many trees for the ones they take out. What is the chance this bill passing?

    Chuck Nelson:

There is no chance of this happening here. The coal industry owns our state, and also controlls our state government. Once our mountains are blown up, the top soil is destroyed, making it impossible for trees or any other kind of vegitation to ever grow again.

Jeff I am an environmentalist with Ohio Valley Environmental Coalition, But I’m first a community actvist, because myself and my neighbors are directly impacted. We have to live everyday with contaminated drinking water, deluded landscape, and most important, bad health which treathens people’s life.
