Walker Machinery, CoaI Industry, continue to terrorize communities
With the blessing of the coal industry, along with Walker Machinery, continue their terrorist acts on communities. As early as yesterday, the town of Twilight was rocked by a massive explosion, which sent the community into turmoil. One lady’s dresser was busted, and her mirror broken, from the impact of the blast. The coal association and Walker continue to call these innocent victims as extremist for complaining about these fearful acts of terror, that is turning their lives into a living hell. I guess they also consider our presidential candidates as extremist too. Both candidates have openly said that they are oppose to mountaintop removal. They have said that they are interested in so- called Clean coal technology, which hasn’t even been tested. Everyone who talks about clean coal technology falls really short about cleaning up coal. To make coal clean, which is only a myth in itself, dose’nt talk about the clean up has to start with the extraction process, not to mention the waste product produced by the washing process at coal prep plants, impound ponds, injections, and acid mine drainage, the polluting of ground water, enforcement of mine laws, tax incentives which keeps money in our politicans, and the list just continues to grow. All this has to be done before reaching the impossible task of containing the thousands of tons of CO2 it spews into our atmosphere everyday. No one can just flip a switch and turn coal off. It still will be with us for a while as the transition happens. But the bottom line is coal is going to be less and less dependent on as a means fossil fuel energy source, regardless of what our Governor say, Don Blankenship say, the coal industry says, Walker machinery says, It’s not only us small band of environmentalist, as Chris Hamilton likes to call us, It’s what American people natiowide are saying, and our new administration are saying also. People all over our nation realize that this is just plain old terrorist acts which are taking place in the coalfields, and this destruction is coming to an end soon. We must continue to fight to save what’s left of our beautiful mountains. Mountainsaver.
